PureDefense offers two types of termite control that include both bait and monitoring as well as liquid barrier treatments.
Advance ® Termite Baiting System
Incorporates a series of low profile, tamper proof, in-ground stations placed every 8 to 12 feet apart. These stations house a cellulose cartridge along with wood inserts to attract termite colonies. Upon regular quarterly inspections, PureDefense technicians can monitor termite activity around the home. When activity is found, a replacement cartridge with an active termiticide will replace the cellulose cartridge and begin spreading the termiticide amongst the colony.
liquid termite barrier
PureDefense applies a continuous liquid termite barrier. To perform this service, your technician will dig a 6’ X 6’ trench where there is soil next to the foundation of the structure. Termiticide is then applied at 4 gallons per 10 linear feet.
With over 13 termite colonies per acre in Georgia, it is not a matter of if but when termites will begin damaging your structure.
